Immunocompromised Conditions

What Are The Risks?

Individuals who are immunocompromised have a higher risk of developing severe illness if infected with the coronavirus. This includes smokers, people undergoing cancer treatment, AIDS or HIV patients whose diseases are not properly controlled, those who have organ or bone marrow transplants, and anyone taking corticosteroids or other immune weakening medications long term.

More specific information about risks is limited, but if you are in this category, you may experience more severe complications from COVID-19.
